ALVARADO ST 🗓️ SAT. OCT 24TH 🕒 6-8 PM PST The U.S. blockade is exacerbating Cuba's energy crisis, putting care for expectant mothers at risk due to fuel shortages and blackouts. The event, which is endorsed by 35 organizations, will organize medical aid for maternal health in Cuba and help keep the lights on in Cuban maternity homes. The meeting will also organize medical assistance for maternal healthcare in Cuba. Solar panels and equipment are provided to 15 maternity homes in working-class communities in Havana and beyond, ensuring reliable power during prolonged blackouts when necessary for essential care. Every dollar helps bring light, safety, and dignity to Cuban families.
