XPENG, Electronity Partner to Deploy 100 EV Chargers in Mexico
XPENG partners with Electronity to expand Mexico’s EV charging network with over 100 new fast-chargers, building on its 2026 SUV market expansion. Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPENG has partnered with Electronity, the charging infrastructure network operated by Drivewatt México, to deploy over 100 EV charging points across Mexico. The initiative, designated as the XPENG | Electronic Charging Network, aims to target approximately 30 high-speed chargers by the end of 2026 and plan to add an additional 70 charging points by the year 2027, marking a 133% capacity expansion over its initial phase. Existing and new XPENG vehicle owners will receive a 10% discount for one year across participating Electronities charging stations. XPENG is also opening hardware sales across its authorized dealership network, allowing non-XPENG EV drivers to purchase charging accessories. The company currently offers two electric SUV models in the domestic Mexican market.
