Fifth Wall Founder Talks VC Funding Strategy
In the decade since its founding, Beverly Hills-based Fifth Wall has grown dramatically. Today, the investment firm, which focuses on PropTech, has Fifth Wall, a Beverly Hills-based investment firm focusing on PropTech, has grown significantly in the past decade. The firm has invested in around 170 companies and has raised $3.1 billion in commitments and assets under management. Founder and CEO Brendan Wallace started his career in real estate before moving to Silicon Valley and launched the first focused venture capital fund for the real estate industry. He also started another company in the ridesharing space, Cabify. Fifth Wall recently moved its headquarters back to L.A. from New York. The company has also launched a fund focused on energy and sustainability.
