The ins and outs of USC’s annual Sex Week
Despite rainy conditions penetrating the week’s activities, the events were not impacted. USC held its annual Sex Week, which aims to promote a sex-positive environment and raise awareness about consent and boundaries on college campuses. The week, which took place from Oct. 19 to 23, featured discussion panels on women’s health and LGBTQIA+ health, followed by one focusing on men’t. The Sexploration Tent, the centerpiece of the event, featured activities such as raffles to win vibrators and comprehensive kink guides. Miki O'Connell-Joshua, a senior majoring in legal studies, was one of the co-leads of Sex Week and reflected on the importance of the week's programming in fostering meaningful conversations about sex among a diverse student body.
