Chargers could face difficult Jim Harbaugh decision if season keeps spiraling
Will the Chargers pull the plug on Jim Harbaugh if they continue on his downward spiral? An analyst believes they could. The Los Angeles Chargers are currently without a win in the first six weeks of their season, with no sign of a turnaround. The team's performance has been poor, ranking among the league's worst in major categories like total yards and points per game, and they also rank dead last in EPA per play. Many have called for the removal of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, citing the team's poor performance. ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler suggested that if the team continues to struggle, the Chargers may have to make a difficult decision regarding the future of coach Jim Harbaugh if their season continues to spiral. The future of Harbaugh's tenure depends on how the Chargers season ends. The 2026 season has been plagued by injuries, poor performances, and questions about the coaching staff.
