REDONDO BEACH, CA — Just in time for the summer gardening season, Redondo Beach is hosting a free compost giveaway this Saturday.
Redondo Beach residents will be able to fill containers that are no larger than 32 gallons while supplies last from a .m. to 12 p.m. An ID or bill to prove residency is required and no plastic bags will be allowed.
The compost is made up of a blend of organics material including a mix of green waste, wood waste and food scraps.
