Major Closures On 4 LA Freeways To Cause Traffic Headaches This Week
Here's when the worst closures are expected and what drivers can do to avoid getting caught in the backups. The 405 construction will cause traffic disruption on four LA Freeways, including the Westside, Sepulveda Pass, and the San Fernando Valley. The closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., with up to five lanes of the northbound freeway being closed between Wilshire Boulevard and Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive. The Getty Center Drive off/on-ramp to the north and southbound 405 will be closed, along with the Sepulvinga Boulevard off/ramp and Burbank Boulevard on-ramps to the southbound405. The speed limit will also be reduced to 55 mph in certain sections due to the construction.
