Three "arc blast incidents" occurred on Sept. 23 and a fourth occurred on September 25. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) confirmed that an arc flash occurred late last month. The project's contractor, LincolnXS, confirmed that there was no defect in the installed electrical system and no damage to passenger vehicles. Testing of the People MOver project has resumed following repairs. The earliest opening date for the PeopleMover is early next year.
