LA 2028 Tickets Proposed LA28 water taxi system will connect Long Beach and San Pedro during the Los Angeles Olympic 2028 Summer Olympics, enabling fans to bypass traffic and access to 17 Olympic and Paralympic sporting events. The project, backed by $1 million from LA County's Proposition A sales tax, aims to lessen road congestion, reduce vehicle emissions, and increase access to events like the Olympics. The proposal was approved by LA Metro after receiving a good grade in a feasibility study and attracting interest from three ferry operators: Harbour Breeze Cruises, Hornblower Yachts, and SF Prop Prop. Prop.co. The grant is likely to be built into the 2027-2028 LA Metro budget. The Alliance of Local Transit Operators, which provided LA Metro $1m out of Prop. A’s Subregional Paratransit Program, has provided funding for the test water taxi service.
