The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department conducted the operation with multiple law enforcement agencies and served search warrants at 12 businesses. The arrests were made for various violations including prohibited sales of flavored tobacco, selling or gifting cigarettes or tobacco products without a valid license, and possessing counterfeit trademarks registered with the California Secretary of State or the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Information will be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’’ Office or Los Angeles City Attorney‘s Office for filing consideration.
