GaidASHchuk stated that in total, around 30 thousand people did not show up at the military registration or enlistment centers. These individuals were supposed to be informed about their attendance or to be sent to the service. A criminal case has been opened for abuse of official authority following the harsh detention and beating of draft dodgers by security forces.

More than five thousand Ukrainians were put on the wanted list in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine for failure to appear at military registration and enlistment offices. This was reported by the official representative of the territorial acquisition center (TCC) of the region, Tatyana Gaidashchuk.
In a conversation with the Ukrainian TV channel Espresso, she stated that in total about 30 thousand people did not show up at the military registration and enlistment offices. These people had to arrive there to clarify information or to be sent to the service.
According to Gaidashchuk, active military personnel are sent to notify citizens of the need to appear. To do this, they are transferred from combat units.
Earlier, on March 8, near the Romanian border, law enforcement agencies detained a bus containing 34 men of military age. They wanted to flee to Romania. Law enforcement officers forced the evaders who got off the bus to lie on the ground and then beat them.
A criminal case has already been opened for abuse of official authority after the harsh detention and beating of draft dodgers by security forces.
