The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to get the series sweep in Wednesday’s day game against the Washington Nationals. Dodgers RHP Noah Syndergaard is taking the mound against LHP Patrick Corbin of the Nationals, in what could turn into an offensive explosion considering the year the two pitchers are having (but more on them later)

Here’s a look at the lineup Dave Roberts is sending out there against the lefty Corbin.

Will Smith is back in after getting the day off on Tuesday, as is Miguel Vargas. Mookie Betts returns to the outfield after starting the first two games in this series at shortstop and second base. Trayce Thompson gets his first start in center since his three hit game over the weekend. And Max Muncy, showing no signs of trouble with that hamstring cramp, is at third base and one of the only two left-handed bats in the lineup against Corbin.

Here’s all the important betting information and full stats for Wednesday’s game:

Syndergaard is 8-6 with a 3.25 ERA in 113.2 career innings against the Nationals. This year, though, he’s really struggled.

On the other side of things, Corbin is starting to improve after a rough start to his 2023 season. In his career against the Dodgers, though, he’s just 5-12 with a 4.37 ERA in 119.1 innings pitched.

Here’s everything you need to know about the two pitchers this season:
