Luka Doncic scored a season-high 52 points and 10 assists to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 132-123 victory over the Utah Jazz. The win keeps the Lakers undefeated at 3-0 to start the 2026-27 National Basketball Association season. Doncick, who joined the Lakers in a February 2025 trade that sent Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks, continues to cement his status as the cornerstone of the Lakers' new era under head coach JJ Redick. Despite a strong performance from Utah's rookie Ace Bailey, the team's perimeter defense failed to contain DoncIC in the final minutes. The victory marks the 10th 50-point game of Doncich's career and his first in a Lakers uniform.
